Country-Specific Documents
Travel History (IMM 5562): We strongly recommend completing this form for the principal applicant and all family members aged 18+.
Required Civil Documents
- Issuing Authority: Birth, Marriage, and Death certificates must be issued by the Registrar General’s Department in Basseterre (St. Kitts) or Charlestown (Nevis).
- Format: Ensure you submit the official certified copy with the raised seal. Unofficial church copies are not accepted.
Police Certificates (PCC)
- Requirement: Applicants aged 18+ must provide a Criminal Record Certificate.
- Issuing Authority: This is issued by the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force.
- Process: You must apply at the Criminal Records Office (police headquarters) and provide a set of fingerprints.
Translation Requirements
No Translations Needed: Since English is the official language, your civil documents (Birth, Marriage, Police Certs) do not require translation. This saves you significant time and money.
However, if any document is not in English or French, include:
- the original document (or required certified copy), plus
- a certified translation
Make sure names, dates, and document details match exactly between the original and the translation.
