Country-Specific Documents
Pakistani applicants must complete several forms in addition to the standard sponsorship package:
- IMM 5562 – Travel History: Required for the principal applicant and all family members 18+.
- IMM 5536 – Authorization to Disclose Information: Mandatory for all Pakistani nationals aged 18+.
- IMM 5546 – Military Service: Required for anyone who has served in the military, police, defence units, or held a senior government position. Must include all pages of the military card/booklet.
These forms support the standard IRCC applications (IMM 1344, IMM 5532, IMM 0008, IMM 5669, IMM 5406), all of which must be accurate and digitally signed.
Marriage & Civil Documents
IRCC reviews Pakistani marriage documentation closely.
- Nikkah Nama + Union Council seal: Both are required. A NADRA Marriage Certificate may be included but is not enough on its own.
- Wedding evidence: If cultural ceremonies were held, submit labelled photos of the Nikkah, Rukhsati, and family gatherings (include names, dates, and event descriptions).
Divorce proof (if applicable): IRCC requires the Union Council divorce certificate and Certificate of Talaq; Khula cases must include the Family Court decree.
Police Certificates (PCC)
Applicants must submit:
- A Pakistani police certificate
PCCs from any country lived in 6+ months since age 18
Translation Requirements
Documents in Urdu or regional languages must include:
- Certified English/French translation
- Copy of the original
This applies to the Nikkah Nama, court documents, and military records.
Biometrics
After applying, IRCC issues a Biometrics Instruction Letter. Pakistani applicants complete biometrics in:
- Islamabad
- Lahore
- Karachi
