Iranian applications face high scrutiny regarding security and military history. To avoid long background checks, your application must be perfect.

Country-Specific Documents

Travel History (IMM 5562): Required for the principal applicant and all dependents 18+.
Military Service (IMM 5546): Mandatory for anyone who has served in the military (including conscription), Sepah (IRGC), Basij, or police.
- Tip: You must provide a CV/Resume detailing your exact duties to help speed up the security review.

Required Civil Documents

Military Booklet: You must submit a full copy of the military service card or exemption card (Kart-e-Payan-e-Khedmat).
- Crucial: Scan every page of the booklet, including blank ones.
Passport: Submit copies of the first 10 pages of your passport (even if blank), plus any pages with visas/stamps.
- Strategy: We strongly recommend your passport be valid for at least 3 years to avoid expiry during potentially long security checks.
Shenas Nameh: A full translated copy of the Iranian identity booklet is required for all applicants.

Note: If a major life event (birth/marriage/divorce) happened abroad and isn’t in the Shenas Nameh, you must attach a Sworn Affidavit explaining why.
