Country-Specific Documents
IRCC requires Details of Military Service (IMM 5546) for Croatian applicants only if the principal applicant served in the military between 1991 and 1995 or in 1999.
If applicable, the applicant must submit:
- A fully completed IMM 5546 form
- Copies of all pages of the military booklet, including blank pages
Applicants who did not serve during these periods are not required to complete this form.
Other “Must-have” Documents
There are currently no special document instructions issued by IRCC for Croatia. Standard civil documents—such as marriage certificates, birth certificates, or divorce records—must be clear, complete, and consistent with the information declared in the application. Any document not issued in English or French must be accompanied by a certified translation.
Biometrics
Most sponsored applicants from Croatia will be required to provide biometrics (fingerprints and photo) after submitting the application. Once IRCC issues the Biometrics Instruction Letter, biometrics must be completed at an authorized Visa Application Centre within the required timeframe.
