    • Requirement: Submit a full copy of the military card or booklet, including all blank pages.

IRCC has a specific rule for divorce documents from Saudi Arabia.

  • Divorce Documents: If you were divorced in Saudi Arabia, do not just submit the initial court order. You must submit a copy of:
    • The “Final Irrevocable Divorce”; or
    • The “Final Divorce Judgment.”
  • If you currently live in Saudi Arabia: You can usually request the Police Clearance Certificate via the Absher app or website.
  • If you have LEFT Saudi Arabia: This is difficult. You cannot obtain the certificate directly.
    • Strategy: You generally need a Request Letter from IRCC first. Submit your application without the certificate, include a Letter of Explanation stating you need an IRCC request letter to apply at the Saudi Embassy, and wait for their instruction.
