IRCC does not require any additional country-specific forms for residents of Namibia. In some cases, applicants may be asked to complete Supplementary Information – Your Travels (IMM 5562) if IRCC needs clarification regarding travel or residence history.

There are currently no special document instructions issued by IRCC for Namibia. Standard civil documents—such as marriage certificates, birth certificates, or divorce records—must be complete, legible, and consistent with the information declared in the application. Any document not issued in English or French must be accompanied by a certified translation.

Most sponsored applicants from Namibia will be required to provide biometrics (fingerprints and photo) after submitting the application. Once IRCC issues the Biometrics Instruction Letter, biometrics must be completed at an authorized Visa Application Centre within the required timeframe.
