Country-Specific Documents
IRCC does not require any additional country-specific forms for residents of Lithuania. In some cases, applicants may be asked to complete Supplementary Information – Your Travels (IMM 5562) if IRCC requires clarification regarding travel or residence history, but this is assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Other “Must-have” Documents
There are currently no special document instructions issued by IRCC for Lithuania. Standard civil documents—such as birth certificates, marriage certificates, or divorce records—must be clear, complete, and consistent with the information declared in the application. Any document not issued in English or French must be accompanied by a certified translation.
Biometrics
Most sponsored applicants from Lithuania will be required to provide biometrics (fingerprints and photo) after submitting the application. Once IRCC issues the Biometrics Instruction Letter, biometrics must be completed at an authorized Visa Application Centre within the required timeframe.
