Kazakhstan to Canada Study Permit
IRCC does not currently provide a separate Kazakhstan-specific study permit checklist, visa office checklist, or local document instructions. Applicants from Kazakhstan should therefore follow the standard IRCC study permit requirements and provide all supporting documents relevant to their studies, finances, and individual circumstances.
IRCC statistics show continued interest in Canadian education among Kazakhstani citizens. 715 study permits were issued in 2021, 495 in 2022, 770 in 2023, 565 in 2024, and 515 in 2025. An additional 195 study permits were recorded from January to June 2026.
These figures reflect the ongoing presence of Kazakhstani students in Canada’s international education system. Applicants should ensure that their study plans, financial resources, and supporting documents are clearly presented and meet all applicable IRCC requirements.
Kazakhstan to Canada Visitor Visa
IRCC does not provide a separate document checklist for Canadian visitor visa applicants from Kazakhstan. Applicants should therefore follow the standard IRCC visitor visa requirements and submit the supporting documents requested through their online application.
IRCC recorded 2,520 visitor visas for Kazakhstan in 2023, 2,360 in 2024, and 1,800 in 2025, followed by 1,235 from January to June 2026.

The supporting documents required will depend on the applicant’s individual circumstances, purpose of travel, financial situation, and plans for their temporary stay in Canada.
