IRCC requires the following additional forms for residents of Gabon:
- Supplementary Information – Your Travels (IMM 5562):
The principal applicant and all family members aged 18 or older must complete this form.
Details of Military Service (IMM 5546):
Required for anyone who has served in the military, police, defence units, or held a senior government position. Applicants must submit a full copy of the military card or booklet, including blank pages, if applicable.
Other “Must-have” Documents
IRCC issues specific instructions for birth certificates from Gabon, particularly when a child’s birth was not registered at the time of birth. In such cases, applicants must submit supporting documents, which may include:
- A supplementary judgment
- Another official document naming the parents
- School records listing the parents (or a written explanation if unavailable)
- The household registry
